SIM only deals
If you are not happy with the price that your old phone is currently selling for, you could choose to continue using your existing phone but sign up for a SIM only contract. There are a range of SIM only deals available from Orange, O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile and 3 at various price points to suit most budgets.
The benefit of taking out a SIM only contract is that the prices are a lot lower than standard mobile contracts becasue the network operator does not have to subsidise the price of the phone with the contract and as such they can offer more generous tariffs.
Also there are SIM only deals that can be taken over rolling 30 day contracts or 12 or 24 months if you would prefer to commit to a longer contract.
